Stephanie is a Licenced Clinical Social Worker, providing therapy to adolescents and adults both in person, and virtually. Her background and areas of expertise include: anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, family dynamics, grief and loss, and self-esteem.
Stephanie works collaboratively with her clients to help them achieve their personal therapy goals. She is passionate about helping individuals understand how past family and relational dynamics have shaped their lives, and assist them in creating new boundaries and patterns of behavior to feel healthier and more fulfilled in life. She enjoys working to help her clients build personal support systems, release shame they may carry, and feel confident in their authentic selves. She creates a safe space for her clients by developing a strong therapeutic bond utilizing laughter and joy. Stephanie has a desire to make therapy approachable so everyone can receive the support they need.
Stephanie uses a holistic approach, working with each client to determine which strategies best fit their needs. She utilizes Strengths Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy.
Stephanie received her master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, and has been working in the mental health field for over ten years.
