Dr. Lianna McDaniel

Post-Doctoral Therapist

Dr. McDaniel is a post-doctoral therapist providing therapy to adults in person and virtually. She has experience with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and depression, relationship and identity concerns, stress and trauma, life transitions, and chronic health issues. She specializes in working with clients who struggle with shame and self-doubt due to their relationship history or due to specific traumas.

Dr. McDaniel believes in the importance of tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of each individual and is committed to providing mental health care with empathy, cultural humility, and a collaborative mindset. Although she uses a variety of techniques in the therapy space, her focus is on forming relationships with clients. Dr. McDaniel approaches therapy through an interpersonal and attachment-oriented lens so she can help her clients understand themselves and create warm, authentic relationships with others.

Dr. McDaniel received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, located in the town of Indiana, Pennsylvania. She has experience in college counseling, hospital, and community mental health settings and is a member of the American Psychological Association.
