Dr. Beverly Ransford

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Ransford is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience providing therapy to adults and couples. She has worked with a diversity of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, identity-related concerns, and life transitions. She has specialized training and expertise in the areas of intimate partner violence, multicultural counseling, gender identity, self-worth, and perfectionism.

Dr. Ransford works alongside clients to build safety and trust to enable authenticity and personal growth. She is mindful that culture and societal factors play a role in shaping our identities and experiences, and she invites clients to explore this in session. Using a warm and empathic approach, Dr. Ransford helps clients gain insight into unhelpful patterns and how past experiences may impact their relationship with themselves and others. Her approach focuses on connecting with emotions which help to open up space for new ways of managing distress. She incorporates mindfulness and empowers clients to move towards self-understanding and acceptance in the face of uncertainty, self-doubt, and unmanageable expectations.

Dr. Ransford received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and has been working in the mental health field for over ten years. Dr. Ransford also holds a Psypact license and is authorized to practice virtually in over 40 states.
