Emma is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapy to adult individuals and couples both in-person and virtually. She works with clients experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma and loss, family-of-origin concerns, and life transitions.

Emma’s approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in relational and systemic thinking. She believes that our relationships, experiences, and larger systems shape how we understand ourselves and connect with others. By exploring these patterns together, she helps clients develop greater self-awareness, build resilience, and create meaningful and lasting change.

Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Bowen Family Systems Theory, and other evidence-based approaches, Emma tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs and goals. With individuals, she helps clients explore patterns and experiences that may be affecting their relationships, work, and everyday lives. With couples, she focuses on understanding the patterns within the relationship, strengthening communication and connection, and fostering greater emotional security and mutual understanding.

Emma strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. Her goal is to help clients feel empowered to better understand themselves and their relationships while developing the tools and insight needed to move toward greater connection and wellbeing.

Emma received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Family Institute at Northwestern University and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from Franklin & Marshall College. She has over three years of experience working in the mental health field.
