ABOUT DR. BUSH

Dr. Bush is a licensed clinical psychologist providing therapy to adults, families, and couples for over 10 years. Her background and areas of expertise include: depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, stress, women’s health issues, grief, life transitions, and relational concerns.

 

Dr. Bush also has experience working with other health related issues such as cancer, ante- and post-partum depression, fertility issues, and coping with medical conditions such as chronic headaches and Lyme Disease.  Her approach with clients is holistic in nature as she strives to promote overall personal wellness.

Through a flexible therapeutic environment that honors the uniqueness of each individual’s experience, Dr. Bush's aim is to empower her clients to live in accordance with their values and goals and to develop meaningful insights, growth, and change.  Her collaborative approach is open and informative, and her goal is to create a space where clients can feel supported and understood. 

Dr. Bush received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Chicago, and her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Cardinal Stritch University. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association-Health Psychology Division. Dr. Bush also offers consultative services.

Dr. Bush is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing therapy to adults in-person and virtually. Her background and areas of expertise include: depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, women’s health issues, self-esteem and self-worth, grief, life transitions, relational concerns and new parent issues.

JULIA WEGMANN

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Julia Wegmann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with expertise in providing therapy to adults affected by depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, health issues, self-esteem deficits, and life transitions.

With a client-driven approach, Julia uses different therapeutic techniques centered around the unique needs of each client.  Approaches utilized most often include, Strengths-based, Systems theory, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychotherapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Julia also enjoys working with clients on journal and narrative therapy techniques. Julia believes therapy should leave clients feeling empowered to overcome personal obstacles, and more prepared for whatever difficulties or opportunities arise next in their lives.

Julia earned her Master of Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, her Bachelor in Psychology at DePaul University, and has been practicing in the field for ten years.

AMANDA ZALE

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Amanda Zale is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor specializing in the treatment of perinatal mental health as well as the adjustment to parenthood. She also treats adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and phase of life issues.   

Amanda operates from a holistic model with the belief that mind, body, spirit, and emotion are interdependent. She integrates similar treatment modalities and techniques in order to meet each individual’s unique needs. Her goals are to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood and to provide practical feedback for clients to use to address distressing symptoms. Amanda frequently uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

 

Amanda is a professional member of Post Partum Support International and received a post graduate certificate in CBT for Perinatal Emotional Complications.

Dr. Parry is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience in providing individual and couples therapy to adults with a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, trauma, loss, and transitional life stages.  

 

Dr. Parry uses a relational approach to help her clients feel supported and understood through challenging times in their lives. She also integrates the use of other approaches such as psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral theories. Her collaborate and integrative approach takes her clients’ unique circumstances into consideration as she hopes to facilitate insight and growth. Her aim is to encourage her clients to live in accordance with their values and to feel confident in being their authentic selves. 

 

Dr. Parry received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Adler University, Chicago. She is also member of the American Psychological Association.

Dr. Ransford is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience providing therapy to adults and couples. She has worked with a diversity of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, identity-related concerns, and life transitions. She has specialized training and expertise in the areas of intimate partner violence, multicultural counseling, gender identity, self-worth, and perfectionism.

 

Dr. Ransford works alongside clients to build safety and trust to enable authenticity and personal growth. She is mindful that culture and societal factors play a role in shaping our identities and experiences, and she invites clients to explore this in session. Using a warm and empathic approach, Dr. Ransford helps clients gain insight into unhelpful patterns and how past experiences may impact their relationship with themselves and others. Her approach focuses on connecting with emotions which help to open up space for new ways of managing distress. She incorporates mindfulness and empowers clients to move towards self-understanding and acceptance in the face of uncertainty, self-doubt, and unmanageable expectations.

 

Dr. Ransford received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and has been working in the mental health field for nine years.  Dr. Ransford is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Illinois Psychological Association.

Stephanie DiMaggio is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with experience providing therapy to diverse populations of adults and adolescents in both individual and group settings. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, self-esteem and self-worth, relationship concerns, life transitions, LGBTQ issues, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and chronic illness.

 

Stephanie specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person Centered Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused Therapy. She takes a holistic approach to each client and often utilizes mindfulness in her work.

 

Stephanie’s goal is to help clients feel empowered to be better version of themselves and to take meaningful steps to live more fulfilling and authentic lives. She builds on the strengths of each client and places a high value on the therapeutic relationship to help facilitate growth.

 

She received her master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Northern Illinois University and has been working in the mental health field for over seven years.

Gillian Tibbetts is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist working with adults, couples, and families. She has expertise in helping individuals who are experiencing life transitions, LGBTQ issues, relationship and parenting challenges, have experienced trauma or loss, and who are experiencing general dissatisfaction with one or more aspects of their current lives.

Dr. Tibbetts uses a relational approach to cultivate a supportive, non-judgmental relationship that is built on trust and acceptance. She approaches therapy through an attachment lens, which helps clients gain personal understanding through exploring the ways that past experiences influence their current lives. Dr. Tibbetts encourages and supports her clients in identifying and utilizing their strengths while acknowledging how the overlapping aspects of their lives—from their histories to their current relationships and family dynamics—influence the ways that they approach self-reflection, school, work, and relaxation.

Dr. Tibbetts earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adler University and her M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Trent University. She has presented at several international professional conferences and her research has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals.

Carolyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor providing therapy to adults in-person and virtually with a focus on anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, self-esteem struggles, disordered eating, life transitions, work-life balance, and relationship difficulties.

 

With an empathetic and compassionate stance, Carolyn utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to foster personal growth and build motivation towards desired goals.

Carolyn employs a holistic and integrative approach that highlights each client’s strengths. She creates a safe, warm, and collaborative therapeutic environment which is essential for developing meaningful insights and change. By meeting clients where they are on their unique journey, she welcomes the opportunity to help clients develop tools and strategies to live a more fulfilling life.

Carolyn received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University in Chicago. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in counseling from Indiana University and has been working in the mental health field for over ten years.

ALICIA FITZSIMONS

Alicia Fitzsimons is a licensed professional counselor providing therapy services to adults of all ages. Alicia uses a strengths-based approach with her clients, helping them notice and access their strengths in addition to modifying unhelpful thought and behavioral patterns.

 

Alicia utilizes a CBT framework and works in a collaborative manner with clients, tailoring treatment to each person’s individual needs and goals. She uses humor and warmth to foster a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Alicia’s areas of clinical interest include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, work/life balance, body image issues, self-esteem issues, social anxiety, and stress management.

 

Alicia has experience working in outpatient, IOP, and residential levels of care and has nearly a decade of experience in the field of mental health.  She earned her master’s degree in clinical counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Loyola University Chicago. Alicia is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Illinois Mental Health Counselor’s Association (IMHCA).

Morgan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing therapy to adults and adolescents. She has expertise working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, life transitions, and relational difficulties. 

 

Grounded in compassion and humor, Morgan focuses on creating a non-judgmental space for her clients to connect deeply with mind and body. She believes that clients can build fulfilling lives by increasing awareness of self and expanding the parameters of possibility. Morgan uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation strategies. Her goal is to explore alongside her clients, offering encouragement and acceptance throughout. 

 

Morgan received her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In five years, she has worked across a variety of mental health settings, including within the community and at outpatient clinics.
