Alicia Sherly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering therapy to adolescents and adults both in-person and virtually. With over six years of experience, Alicia supports clients through significant life transitions, work or school-related stress, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, and ADHD.
Alicia utilizes a holistic and relational approach while integrating mindfulness, emotional regulation skills, psychoeducation, somatic therapies, and cognitive behavioral techniques. She operates from a trauma-informed and social justice perspective that acknowledges the impact of oppression and social injustice on individuals’ lives. She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive therapeutic environment for all sexualities, genders, races, ethnicities, religions, and abilities.
Alicia holds a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and also works within Chicago area schools.
